Best trip ever!!

For years Jordan wanted to get to Seattle and attend Paxprime. A massive penny arcade exhibition where gamers new and old, anime and on line podcast celebrities gathered for 4 days and showed off their new games and tech. They mingled with fans and offered exclusive giveaways. Q&A panels, beta testing new games and consoles, Pokemon and magic the card game played 24/7. Jordan's personal hero's, The Gang from Rooster Teeth were going to be there. Tickets were hard to get but I got them..3/3 day all access passes with 1 bonus day..HaloFest!! Of course medical badges gave us special access and no wait lines. Just like DisneyLand😁

Rooster Teeth has been Jordan's go to everything for a very long time. Their incredibly hilarious Podcasts, Achievement Hunter, Let's play and his favorite Red vs Blue. We started watching RvB with him and omg it's awesome. Funny. Many firsts that weekend. We decided to take the Amtrak down. Was really a fun trip. Jordan and Mom...4 days in Seattle alone. Party time! What a blast I have a ton of pics and videos to post. First day we get to Washington state convention center 2 hours early lol. Jordan had to be the first one at the RT Booth on day 1. We were...that day and Every day lol. If you have ever met my son you know is the strong silent type. He puts a lot of thought into what he says. Not this morning. Non stop babbling. Too funny. Same kind of awe struck stare he had in Disney Land when he saw Winnie thr Pooh. When we get there 2 hours early,  and he sees Gus Sorolla smiling at him. Jordan freezes and starts acting like he's never spoken a word in his life. So of course Gus assumes his disability is more than just physical. He walks over to us and speaks to my son in that loud slow tone...you know the one I mean. He turns and asks if I thought Jordan heard him and knows who he is. I laughed and said just give him a second. I'm sure his iq is higher than yours hes just a bit star struck and I'm shock we are actually here. Jordan. Knows everything You've done. Test him when he comes to. Lmao. Jordan finally comes back to earth and the color back in his face. They had a great talk. 1st of many.

You will see in the pictures just how much fun we had. We were both exhausted by the time we got back home. Up at 530 every morning. All day at the convention center and other venues. Panels, Meet n greets, Q&A s, game testing, concerts, treasure hunts, contests. Literally non stop. Jordan was so tired that at least once a day he would tilt his chair right back and have a power snooze right in the middle of the convention center. Then off we would go again. We were always one of the first to arrive snd last to leave. 45 minutes on the trains to our hotel and then sleep for about 3-4 hours. Back up at 530 ish...lol

Exhausting but worth every second. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Jordan slept solid in the few hours between events. Of course it took me close to 2 hours longer to get to bed I had a lot of work to do to prepare for our next full scheduled day. By the time I got him into bed and his bipap on, body adjustments to make my son as comfy as can be I then got all Jordans equipment cleaned and ready for morning. Prepared all his meds and feed bags for the day, cleaned and restocked suction machine, organized clothing and emergency supplies etc...I was ready for bed. Been awhile since I did all of Jordans care alone, this long and away from home. Missed my husband and all his helping big time.
